Construction of the Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski bypass – design and construction of a section of Provincial Road class connecting the Brezelia junction with National Road 9
The project involved the design and construction of a Provincial Road class section approximately 2.56 km long connecting the "Brezelia" junction with National Road no. 9 (exit from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski towards Rzeszów) near Jędrzejów.
Contract value: PLN 52,921,333.43 gross.
The constructed road runs along a new route from the junction at the intersection with Road 755 to Opatowska Street along the existing National Road 9, which is the exit from Ostrowiec towards Opatów and Rzeszów.
Scope of Works
- Construction of a Provincial Road class section from km 0+000.00 to km 2+569.36
- Expansion of the National Road 9 lane from km 72+282.63 (existing DK9 km) to km 2+778.25 (72+634.04 – existing DK9 km)
- Demolition of existing Brezelia junction connection and construction of new section from km 0+000.00 to km 0+135.52
- Demolition of existing municipal road section (Wąwozy Street) and construction of new road section from km 0+000.00 to km 0+151.22
- Construction of a medium three-way roundabout intersection with external diameter 46m at km 0+106.49 – 0+155.26
- Demolition of existing three-way intersection of National Road 9 with municipal road (Wąwozy Street) and construction of four-way roundabout intersection with external diameter 46m
- Reconstruction of road DG 000219T, Jędrzejów – Denkówek route at km 0+756 of bypass road
- Reconstruction of internal road at km 0+967 of bypass road with construction of turning area
- Construction of access roads on the right side of bypass road
- Construction of access roads on the left side of bypass road
- Construction of ITD vehicle control point
- Construction of bridges serving as small animal passages

Project Characteristics
