Construction of provincial road no. 560 Sierpc

Scope of Works
- Construction of provincial road no. 560 on the section from Płocka Street (DW560) in Gorzewo in Sierpc municipality to Kościuszki Street (DK10) in Sierpc
- Construction of roundabouts at the intersections of DW560 with Płocka Street (former DW560) and Kościuszki Street (DW10)
- Construction of additional lanes with access road parameters serving the properties adjacent to the constructed DW560
- Construction of an overpass over the Nasielsk – Toruń railway line
- Construction of a bridge over the Sierpienica River
- Construction of pedestrian paths, pedestrian-bicycle paths and bicycle paths
- Construction of a road drainage system
- Construction and reconstruction of public and private accesses
Project Characteristics
The beginning of the construction of the new provincial road no. 560 in the city of Sierpc is a four-leg roundabout in Gorzewo. The road then runs via an overpass over the Nasielsk – Toruń railway line. At the intersection of provincial road DW-560 and Mickiewicza Street, a channelized intersection with additional turning lanes from the bypass was constructed.
As part of the project, a bridge over the Sierpienica River was also built. The provincial road then ends at the intersection with national road no. 10 in Borki Kościelne at the administrative boundary with the city of Sierpc. At this location, a three-leg roundabout was planned to be constructed.
Along the entire route, sidewalks, bicycle paths and pedestrian-bicycle paths were constructed. For the needs of residents, access roads and private and public accesses were built along with engineering structures, accompanying infrastructure and traffic safety devices.
