Design and construction of the southern bypass of Morawica in the route of Provincial Road 766
The project includes the design and construction of the southern bypass of Morawica in the route of Provincial Road 766 (Morawica – Pińczów) and National Road 73 (Kielce – Tarnów).
Contract value: PLN 49,057,146.31 gross.
The Morawica bypass, approximately 2.6 km long, will be constructed in the southern part of the Morawica and Wola Morawicka villages, along Provincial Road no. 766. It will serve as an alternative connection between Provincial Road no. 766 and National Road no. 73.
Scope of Works
- Construction of the southern Morawica bypass along DW 766 approximately 2.6 km long
- Reconstruction of sections of the existing DW 766 at the approaches to the planned roundabout intersection (from km 0+570.12 to km 1+970.00) including construction of a roundabout intersection with the planned Morawica bypass
- Construction of intersections with other public roads along the planned bypass section
- Reconstruction of the DK 73 section (from km 26+798 to km 27+130.95) in connection with the construction of a roundabout intersection with the planned Morawica bypass
- Reconstruction of sections of municipal roads at intersections with the planned bypass
- Construction of infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists
- Construction of additional lanes enabling access to adjacent plots
- Construction and reconstruction of individual and public access roads
- Construction of a vehicle weighing station with an ITD inspection vehicle station
- Construction of stormwater drainage sections
- Construction of culverts, drainage ditches and infiltration ditches
- Construction of an infiltration reservoir
- Reconstruction of MV and LV networks with construction of lighting in the area of intersections and pedestrian crossings
- Reconstruction of telecommunications network
- Construction of a technological channel
- Reconstruction of water supply network
- Reconstruction of sanitary sewer network
- Tree and shrub removal
- Vegetation planting
- Implementation of new vertical and horizontal road markings and road safety elements
Project Characteristics
The main objective of the project will be to redirect vehicle traffic between Provincial Road 766 and National Road 73 south of the towns of Morawica and Wola Morawicka. After the completion of the construction of the Morawica bypass along National Road 73, it will also serve as a transport route for the Kielce – Kije road, reducing traffic intensity in Morawica and Wola Morawicka.
The bypass will be a dual carriageway single-lane road, equipped with additional lanes for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as intersections with other public roads.
