
Infrastructure for servicing FSRU units in the Port of Gdańsk
The infrastructure for servicing FSRU units covers berths, a subsea gas pipeline, a trenchless landfall crossing and a land section of the pipeline on both maritime and land plots.
The project is part of the FSRU terminal programme in the Port of Gdańsk and aims to deliver modern regasification infrastructure.
Scope of works
The project includes the full infrastructure required to handle an FSRU regasification vessel in the Gulf of Gdańsk.
- Construction of berthing and mooring quays with technical facilities.
- Execution of a subsea gas pipeline connecting the FSRU terminal with the national transmission system.
- Construction of a trenchless shore crossing and a land section of the gas pipeline.
Partnership and responsibilities
On 2 April the consortium GAP INSAAT YATIRIM VE DIS TICARET A.S. (leader), UNITEK INSAAT SANAYI VE TICARET A.S. and FABE POLSKA sp. z o.o. signed a contract with GAZ-SYSTEM for the offshore part of the FSRU Programme.
Together we are responsible for works enabling the safe berthing and servicing of the regasification unit on the Gdańsk waters.
