Manager of Construction Machinery and Equipment Department
Join the FABE Polska team and take on a key role in maintaining and developing the fleet of construction machinery and specialized vehicles.
We are looking for a leader who will combine technical knowledge with organizational and leadership skills, ensuring efficient operation of the machinery and equipment department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating comprehensive service and repair of construction machinery brands CAT, HAMM and WIRTGEN.
- Managing the service, repair and inspection schedule for the fleet of IVECO, MAN trucks and delivery and passenger vehicles.
- Monitoring the timeliness of technical inspections and OC insurance policies for the entire fleet.
- Supervision of maintenance and service of fixed assets, including office-social containers, storage containers, power tools and measuring equipment.
- Planning and organizing logistics of domestic and international transport.
- Conducting commercial negotiations and purchasing vehicles, machinery and heavy construction equipment.
- Analysis and comparison of supplier offers and preparation of purchasing recommendations.
- Control of invoice compliance with contracts and orders and supervision of the settlement process.
- Quality assessment of delivered machinery, vehicles, spare parts and small equipment.
Requirements
- Higher technical education – preferred fields: mechanics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or technical logistics.
- Experience in a managerial position or in managing a team responsible for maintaining a machine park.
- Practical knowledge of operation principles, technical inspections and repairs of construction equipment.
- Ability to plan, organize and optimize the use of technical resources.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and regulations regarding the operation of construction machinery and equipment.
- High analytical skills and readiness to make decisions in a short time.
- Negotiation skills and experience in cooperation with suppliers and external services.
